Im letztem Chili Beitrag dachte ich noch, das war die finale Ernte für dieses Jahr, doch heute musste ich feststellen, dass sich da noch so einiges in der Zeit getan hat. Beim Gießen alle paar Tage ist mir immer nichts aufgefallen, keine Blüten, keine Knospen, einfach Garnichts. Dann sind bei der einen Chilipflanze die ersten Blätter schon abgefallen. Da war ich mir nun sicher, dass war es. Habe aber immer fleißig weiter gegossen.

Nun, nachdem das Wetter bei mir langsam recht kühl wird, musste ich die Heizung in der Wohnung doch mal an machen. Nachdem aber die Chilipflanzen auf der Heizung stehen, musste ich sie in einem anderen Raum umziehen. Dabei habe ich heute bemerkt, dass an der einen eine bisher unbemerkte Chilischote hängt. Diese ist sogar schon sehr lang und kann bald geerntet werden.

In the last Chili article I thought this was the final harvest for this year, but today I had to find out that there was still a lot going on in time. When watering every few days I always didn't notice anything, no flowers, no buds, just nothing. Then the first leaves of one chili plant have already fallen off. Now I was sure that it was. But I kept on watering diligently.

Well, after the weather was getting quite cool, I had to turn on the heating in the apartment. But after the chili plants were standing on the heater, I had to move them to another room. Today I noticed that on one of them there is a chili pepper that has not been noticed before. It is even very long and can be harvested soon.

Aber noch besser ist es, die Dritte Chilipflanze ist komplett bestückt mit Blüten. Daher habe ich gleich mal meinen Pinsel geholt und hab da mal wieder Biene gespielt. So wie die ausschaut, wird es da dieses Jahr doch noch mal eine Ladung Chilischoten zum Ernten geben. Ich habe mit vielen gerechnet, aber damit nun echt nicht mehr.

But it is even better, the third chili plant is completely equipped with flowers. So I got my brush and played bee again. The way it looks, this year there will be a load of chillies for harvesting. I expected a lot of them, but not any more.

Spannend wird es nur, wie es mit denen weiter geht, denn wenn die immer weiter Chilischoten produzieren, kann ich gar nicht in die Winterpause gehen. Wollte im Neujahr eigentlich neue Pflanzen aufziehen, da meine jetzigen komplett krumm sind und selber kaum noch stehen können.

It will only be exciting to see how things will continue with them, because if they continue to produce chili peppers, I can't even go into the winter break. I wanted to grow new plants in the New Year, because my current ones are completely crooked and can hardly stand.
