You See me right there
Those glassy eyes staring daily
Uncertain of what it all means
If the ship of destruction is sailing

You glance at what the past held
When the right steps were needed
Tough as they may be
But for instant pleasure you ceded

You know what's coming
All the wrong choices lead to this point
Those you mocked their warnings
Rope into the same fate as a joint

You can only regret now
As things crumble on themselves
