Observation - The Yemeni War is Still Under the World's Radar
I had thought the Murder of Jamal Khasoggi will throw more light on the horrific human rights abuses of the Saudi regime, with none more horrifying than the carnage in Yemen.
Unfortunately that has barely been the case as the matter all but dies down at this time. Even in the heat of the Khasoggi Murder aftermath, Yemen served more as an afterthought to some prominent media reportage compared to the Diplomatic Row between Saudi and Turkey, or even Trumps comments.
How does the death of one man overshadow that of thousands, with millions at risk? Yemen needs a miracle at this point which will either involve a quick Saudi victory over the Houthis, or an international intervention through investigations into atrocities being committed in Yemen (which remains very unlikely).
You do realize that if someone will find your post 1000 years from now they would conclude you were probably delusional... there won't be any mentions this war even happened, the problems most important to 2018 as reflected by the media - Trump, white privilege, deadnaming...
