The US has no good Reason to be in Yemen

Yemen is a disaster, and the US once again carries a good portion of guilt and genuine blame for the devastating nature of the war. Unlike the Wars of the early 2000s, there is no attempt at a righteous or moral justification for this, only mindless bloodshed that goes on by proxy.

The US has openly backed the Saudi-UAE led coalition against the alleged but widely dismissed Iranian backed Houthi militants. Apart from action without evidence, the major concerns are in the execution of such actions that supports needless bloodletting over finding a peaceful solution. Of course, there is also the case of the so called allies - whose military the government gladly backs with ammunition and training.

Saudi Arabia and UAE are confirmed hotbeds for the sponsor of terrorist activities, but still we choose to side with them. Furthermore, their execution of the war has been out so brutally performed that a good majority of those counted as direct causualties are civilians (with a good number of children also affected). Not to mention a humanitarian crisis that has seen massive starvation and outbreak of diseases.

The Yemeni war should be one that the US should be staying completely out of, or at best provide advice for both sides on peace negotiations. By picking a side in this chaos, we're as guilty as the very executioners themselves.
