My first PALnet post

Is this a new frontend? Will this replace Steemit? Is it the realization of SMT?

It looks like there are a lot of confusion going on here in steemit and there are a lot of questions that even I don't have a clue on what's happening. My curiosity led me to go through some of the posts that we're release through the https://www.palnet.io/

So, basically the PALnet.io is not meant to replace Steemit, in fact it's a new way to experience Steem without having to start all over again. This website is different with Whaleshares, Golos...etc

Some say that it's a forked Steemit website.

How does it work? Whenever you post using PALnet.io, your post will be reflected to the Steemit website (much like using a dApp).

PALnet.io also have pages like Trending or New however, it will only display the posts that are created using PALnet.

What is the benefit of using PALnet.io? When you post using this website, your post will have the chance to earn PALcoins which is similar to Steem that can be staked (powered up) to give your account some influence in PALnet platform. Similar to SP, your staked PALcoins will also earn you curation rewards when used to upvote contents through the PALnet website.

Essentially, posting through PALnet is like hitting two birds using one stone - acquiring both Steem & PALcoins. Based from what I gathered, PALcoin is pegged with Steem and it can be bought or sold through the Steem-Engine DEX.

Could this be the SMT that we are waiting for? I believe it is.

What made me interested to participate? I will be very subjective on this one, the reason is because of the people behind it - the MSP Community. They are the most diligent and consistent community I've known so far. On top of that, PALnet is based on the idea of Peace, Abundance, & Liberty. A community that has a clear direction and is guided by a strong goal.

I do encourage everyone to experience it and see how it feels to have a refreshing outlook for Steem.
