Negotiations, a battle of interests

The social model that has developed in the world has all kinds of variations, but in general, society is perceived as a competitive, indifferent, and cruel environment, full of many advantages and opportunities, as well as risks and threats. Regardless of this context, each person has the power to change their destiny according to their ability, dedication, and opportunities. The fate of people is greatly influenced by their condition, the resources available to them, and the environment in which they develop. There is no doubt that a favorable environment, and a greater amount of resources represent a significant advantage of one person over another, even so, it is very difficult to predict the success of people, because it is a factor that is directly linked to the effort of each one, influenced by the ambition, need, desires, and personality of each one.

Among the qualities of individuals, negotiation skill is key to success. Negotiation is not only about agreements of a commercial and economic nature. Negotiation is a quality of the human being, a complement to communication that facilitates mutual understanding and good coexistence by agreeing conditions or plans according to mutual interests.

Throughout history, humankind has had countless conflicts among themselves, caused by conflicts of interest, and for problems of understanding, which led to the emergence of numerous wars, the purpose of which was to force others to bow down to the interests of a particular group. All this stage of wars and permanent conflicts that humanity lived through would continue to this day, if it had not implemented negotiation, and although there are areas of the world that frequent wars, I believe it is a temporary situation that will have no choice but to negotiate the interests of each party and reach a middle point that allows mutual coexistence.

Human beings have the capacity to learn very quickly, in the example given, the protagonists of conflicts and wars somehow realized that this clash of interests would not be beneficial in the long term for anyone, so that gradually the conditions were formed that allowed the negotiation between the different parties to the conflict, and put an end to the great wars of the world.
