Shopping, food, pint and celebrating a welsh legend on winning the Tour de France. 🇫🇷
A trip to the capital of Wales today with the misses having a shopping spree and buying NOTHING!!!!! We shop for two and half hours and buy nothing. How can she do it? We went in every shop that Cardiff has and she couldn’t decide. I guarantee in a couple of days she say I wish I bought that outfit from a certain shop and decide to go back. God I love this woman. She does make me laugh fair play, we had a giggle today which was good.
We did have a free lunch courtesy of a leading supermarket. We went to a place called Cafe Rouge and the food was lush. I went for something different and had a huge dish of mussels with a Camembert starter.
We then went for a pint with my brother for his birthday and waited for the arrival of a welsh legend. Wales is a small country of only 3.17 million people (I had to google that) and therefore we have a limited number of sporting legends.
This is Geraint Thomas, the small bloke in yellow who was the first person from Wales to win the Tour de France. What an achievement.
He cycled 3,349 kilometres around France day after day. He must have some kind of fitness that is off the chart and maybe a sore arse for cycling all that time. I can’t even ride a bike so fair play to him. He enters the classification of legend for me.
For such a small country we have our fair share internationally recognised sports/film/music stars #teamwales
