Live Your Life as If It's a Magnificent Story!

I once heard Joe Rogan talk about living your life as if there were a documentary crew following you. To do the things in life that you would want to look back on and would want others to look back on as great achievements and an interesting life.

Wasting your life is the worst thing you can do. Every day that goes by is extremely precious. We have precious opportunities in each and every day.

If we don't do the work and follow our passion and our creativity, then we are destined to live a life that we wouldn't want to watch.

I saw this quote today that reminded me of this whole idea of living your life like it's a beautiful story that you want to be fascinating, full of twists and turns and full of achievements and relationships:

It's more difficult than you think. I feel like we are taught our entire lives to not think of ourselves as the author.

The school system and other instituions and government steer us into a way of thinking that is about the collective rather than the individual.

If you don't help yourself, then how will you help others?

If you yourself aren't fulfilled in life, then how will you help make other people feel fulfilled in their lives?

It's important to help others, but it's also important to respect yourself and live out your dreams. You only get 1 shot at this life, it's such a waste if you don't do anything with it!!
