Earlier in my post, I talked about the importance of listening to your intuitions. How listening to your intuition changes the way things happen in your life. Less of regrets, more of peace, more of satisfied life and a great confidence for yourself lasting forever with you. But I also talked about, how this art of our inner self is suppressed within us and hence, It is not easy now , to know that it's our intuition talking or just random thoughts out of our over thinking.

When we were kids, we knew no language then the intuitions of us. That was the only way we did things. When we are hungry, when we are sleepy , and we didn't care we are in middle of something or whatever. If we felt like sleeping, we will be sleeping just then, nothing else. But as we grow up, we start receiving so many of how to do list on everything and hence we become ignorant of what we felt and focus more on what is acceptable.

But as we grow up, we feel something within dying. Our soul still has that kid in it, and we start missing that kid and think why had we grown up. If these lines, takes you to your soul, means you are going through the same that I would call " growing up trap"

And the good thing is, it's never too late. We are still capable of listening to our heart and doing what actually we feel like. It would just take a lot of your gut to do so. It won't be easy just to differentiate between your intuitions and your thoughts. And then following them would need more of it to do. But the feeling of fulfillment that follows will be your greatest reward.

Try a few tips that i myself from the different bloggers and reading so many books, hoping they would help..

Be honest with yourself

When you take the decision of listening to your intuition. the first thing that you need to do is be honest with yourself. Sometimes we do something we weren't suppose to do and it lead us to a unwelcoming feeling. For example, we saw a person get in a situation that become a funny story when you narrate it to your friends and later you felt guilty of doing so. So in that moment, allow yourself to tell yourself that you were bad person then and you need to change. Just tell whatever your feeling are, without filters.

Track your thoughts in a journal

Even being honest is not so easy. Whenever we are guilty of something, we defend ourselves by telling why we did, what we did. We know inside that we were wrong and that is what matters. But you won;t be able to deal with that. So you should start writing it. So when you re read it as a third person you'll know what were you like and why were you like that.

Give it some empty space

Often when your intuitions want to talk to you, they would be very shy to come out. They come when the environment is all calm and peaceful and they know that you are 100% just listening to them. So, whenever you find a calm and peaceful place, give yourself the luxury of spending time there with yourself and talk with your instincts.

Step away from the situation for instance

There will those times too, when you are in a situation in all sudden and you don't know what your guts are saying and you just say what your mind tells. But now, when you know that you only wants to follow your intuition, give some space to self and step back from that situation. Find some calm place and then talk to your heart. And then only take your decision without any guilt of taking this much time.

stay courageous

When you start listening to the intuitions , there would be times when it would take you to some dangerous and unwanted situations which would love to ignore and would instead listen to your mind who would telling you to do otherwise. But here's what you would actually you would be doing. Trusting to your instincts and doing what it tells you. Because people may live with whatever you do, but you might lose your sleep.
