MS sufferer, Ghandi Bobbins...A personal story. Know the facts. # Part 1

Before I present the interview with Ghandi Bobbins - a long time sufferer of MS- it's important to know what exactly MS is.

It can be a debilitating disease, leaving the victims of it completely lost, with no sense of where they are in the world. (And some with just no sense whatsoever).
Extreme cases of MS can even lead to a total mental breakdown.

So before I present the harrowing, and very touching journey, of Ghandi Bobbins, here's a brief description of how it can present itself, and how it can affect and debilitate the sufferers of it.

MS .....Motivational Speakerism

Here is the brain scan of a severe case of MS. The patient, (now deceased), thought that if he could pinpoint the areas in his brain that were not positive enough, he would fix his problems. After inserting several plastic 'pointy things', into his gray matter, he promptly expired.

MS can cause a wide range of symptoms and each person with the condition is affected differently.

The symptoms are very unpredictable.

Some people's symptoms develop and worsen steadily over time, while for others, they seem to come and go.

Periods when symptoms get worse are known as relapses.
Multiple seminar visits and online courses tend to escalate at these times.

Periods when symptoms improve or disappear are known as remissions.
This is seen to correlate with the patient receiving heavy doses of doses RL (real life).

Some of the most common symptoms of MS include:

Vision problems:

It seems that not being able to 'see the wood for the trees', is a very real, and very disturbing symptom, in many MS sufferers.
An inability to see things as they really are - to the point of total delusion in some people – can lead to a heightened sense of being really intelligent.
Word salads are very common side effect of this kind of delusion.

Numbness and tingling:

This is often associated with MS when it's going into remission.
It is thought to be brought on by renewed synaptic activity that has laid dormant during previous attacks of MS. One of the most common things heard from sufferers on this remission stage is 'Oh, I'm starting to think'.
The reduction - and even complete halting of attending seminars - can take place at this time.

Mobility problems:

Many MS sufferers find it impossible to leave the computer desk while looking for yet more online courses to sign up to, thus leading to obesity and mental anxiety.
As the weight increases, more time is spent on the computer, looking for motivational diet courses. (known as MDC, syndrome).

Problems with thinking, and planning:

One of the worst effects of an MS attack is that is renders sufferers incapable of critical thought and logical argument.

Problems with understanding and processing visual information such as reading a book on philosophy, can become virtually impossible.
Statements such as '2 plus 2 doesn't have to equal 4, especially if it makes you feel unhappy' are not unusual in many cases.
(As MS progresses, any three syllable words may also be completely unfathomable to the sufferer).

Reduced sense of humor, and sensitivity to criticism.

A very common symptom of MS sufferers is the inability to laugh. The world becomes a very serious place, and personality changes occur within the sufferer.
Nothing is funny any more to them, and they are unable to laugh at themselves.
At the same time, they think they are funny.

A extreme example recently of this disconnect with reality, is no better highlighted than the story of 'Kyle'.
He's now serving nine years in prison for beating a man to death with his seminar pamphlet, during an altercation with a non MS sufferer, who'd insisted that Kyle 'wasn't funny in the slightest'.

This then led to Kyle being triggered, and eventually beating his critic to death, all the while screaming 'I'm fucking funny, alright?'.
A tragic story indeed, but highlights perfectly the sensitivity MS sufferers have to any kind of criticism.

Sexual problems:

Many sufferers of MS have erectile dysfunction (or vaginal dryness), which is thought to be brought on by severe anxiety.
'MS anxiety' is most commonly thought to be brought on as a result of 'reality disconnect'.
Chasing ether, while believing that they're actually chasing rainbows( with pots of gold at the end of them).

As reality and delusion come closer together, the anxiety increases dramatically.
This is not conducive to 'getting a stiffy', nor 'gushing like a river'.

Speech and swallowing difficulties :

An inability to construct any sentences that do not include, potential , leverage, or opportunity costs, seems almost impossible to do for almost all people suffering from MS.
An inability to swallow any stark truths and facts also presents itself quite commonly.

Fatigue:

It's often described as an overwhelming sense of exhaustion. This tends to present itself as an inability to stop playing computer games all day, and then to go promptly to bed.
(Cheetos, sweet foods, and 2 liter bottles of coka cola appear to have some dietary attraction to MS sufferers, -although we have yet to establish the underlying cause for this).

Bowel and urinary problems :

Being full of shit seems to affect all MS sufferers, invariably presenting with verbal diarrhea at the same time.
Bladder problems are also a common symptom .
'Taking the piss' (by close family members, and friends that care), during severe attacks of MS( in combination with a lack of any humor whatsoever), can lead to severe mental trauma.
Mostly for those close to them, and not the actual sufferer.

In Part 2 , you will hear the touching story from Ghandi Bobbins, long time sufferer of Motivational Speakerism.

.....Ghandi Bobbins: .....

"...I started reading Deepak Chopra in my early adolescence..and looking back now, I think that was gateway drug for me. And it appears to be the same story for many other MS sufferers, to...
....eventually, that led to mainlining on Tony Robbins. I could never get to enough to seminars, just to get my fix..."
