Bike Wednesday on Thursday -- Thank You Tour de France!
In the past, the people in the office I work at were doing an after work bike ride every Wednesday. The past year, sadly, there wasn't any. The past weeks, we talked about picking it up again and today we finally took it to the road! I guess the start of the Tour de France was part of the motivation :)
Together with two of my colleagues we did a 50km ride through the Belgian hills. The area we rode is east of Liège and known to be great for cycling. From our office we can get there in about 20 minutes, pretty sweet right?! A fun fact is that we also passed a former country called Neutral Morisnet, a place I wrote a blog about when I just started here on Steemit. Time flies!
We had to stop for icecream.... of course.

As you can see the average speed isn't the fastest. But given the height meters and the fact that all three of us didn't ride bike for exercise in a long time, it wasn't so bad :)
