Medical marijuana is a welcome development. It is very effective in relieving anxiety and pain. Most people are arguing that the side effects like liver and lung diseases, heart problems etc. Are going to be prevalent but I don't think that would be the case if the usage is not abused like every other drug out there.

As i know Medical marijuana uses the marijuana plant or chemicals in it to treat diseases or conditions. It's basically the same product as recreational marijuana, but it's taken for medical purposes.

a subject with a high and interesting matrix of opinions, I have read some of the benefits of marijuana and its use mostly in ailments and insomnia, mainly I have been tempted to try the effects, since I suffer from severe insomnia and conventional medicine has not been helpful, being the case I approve its use as long as they do not abuse the recommended doses.
My opinion is that It shouldn't get to my country (Nigeria) because it will definitely be abused irrespective of it's health benefit just like codine...
Here, marijuana will always be marijuana whether "medical" is added to the name or not.
