Consensus Day 1 has concluded!

Lots of great things came out today in the world of cryptocurrency with #consensus2018 leading the pack with a ton of great news, including:

Zcash added to Gemini

FedEx to adopt blockchain, and thinks its the future

SAP launches Blockchain Supply Chain Initiative

Jimmy song almost blew a fuse with his fellow speakers about blockchain and centralization vs decentralization. He is a bitcoin maximalist and doesn't think anything other than bitcoin is truly decentralized.

The live streams were awesome and i am really wishing i could be there. But, I could not see myself putting out 1500+ dollars for a ticket to this event. That's absolutely #crazy and I love blockchain, but unless your a VC or are going for business, no way the prices should be that high. Especially after viewing how much they get from their sponsers, they could have afforded to provide cheaper tickets or provided some type of day ticket like #SDCC or #NYCC does, because the amount of money they raised is like 15+ million just in ticket sales.

I wish i could get sponsored in the future to go and be able to stream or report on the event, but until then i remain fiat poor and crypto locked up :)

As i suggested on my YouTube channel, i might setup a #meetup event for this summer. For like minded crypto enthusiasts alike!
