Burning nose, 5 pull-ups and worm samosa

in #blog5 years ago

Good evening, my friends!

Greetings from a cloudy Vilnius! I hope you all had a creative and productive day...

I went to the church this morning and the first thing I did was I drew a comic strip about Pinky and Spiky lying around the bonfire. Spiky came too close to the fire and his nose was burning. The other friends tried to figure out what to do. This was my entry for Artstorm contest of yesterday but it turned out I missed the deadline by some 30 minutes...

When playing the organ in our church, it's important not to touch any other switches besides this one. What happens is that all the electricity and internet switches of Vilnius University Museum are located in the organ balcony. Strange? I know... But guest organists who don't read the directions would switch off everything after using pipe organ and then I would get angry calls and visits from the IT department. So I sent this photo to my friend who will be playing this instrument on Saturday.

I had lunch at Vilnius University History Department cafeteria. On the menu was creamy spinach soup, veggies and chickpeas casserole and lemon tea. Afterwards I enjoyed reading and commenting 5 articles on Steemit picked by @qurator.

After lunch I returned to my church to play the organ works of Teisutis Makacinas. My strategy today was to play them from the beginning until the end while stopping and preparing for the next fragment every 2 beats. This is helping me reach the concert tempo faster.

While I was walking from the church to my car I imagined a scenario in the future where all our blockchain based social media networks would be as big as Facebook today. Two questions swirled in my head. How would this affect the reward pool distribution? And how would this affect the price of the tokens?

When I picked up Ausra from school, we drove to her parents house where her mom had prepared lunch for us. It turned out an early dinner for me. Since we couldn't finish everything, her mom packed a package for us to take home... as usual.

Doing 5 pull-ups wasn't easy for me. Maybe it's because I haven't done them for 2 days in a row. Maybe because I had eaten not long ago. But I'll tell you what was easy: picking these fallen apples in the garden. They usually stay fresh until Christmas.

For the Artstorm contest of today I drew Samosa and Pakora. Those are two of the most popular examples of Indian food. In my comic strip Spiky is having a worm samosa and Pinky - a potato peal pakora. The rest of the gang are standing around and obviously wanting to have a bite or two...

Ausra and I went for an evening walk around the neighborhood. We only walk on streets which had streets lights. I shared with her what I had read after lunch: a post about festivals of light in India, about snowstorm in Colorado mountains, a game Mount and Blade Warband, Steem Monster giveaway and the importance of getting enough sleep. A sweet little kitten walked with us for a while.

In the evening I drew a comic strip about Cornelius having built a pyramid out of green peas and wanting to throw them to Pinky. But she has to catch them with her mouth. Pinky is disgusted with the idea and says that the peas will all be wet. This is my entry for this week's #Steemit-Webcomics contest.

Thanks! I was happy indeed... How was your day? Did you write about it?

My day is pretty nervous. We pack our bags. Tomorrow we will fly to Girona... After that we will have a leap to Toulouse.
I think that will be something to write :)

Busy and joyful...

How was your day?

I'm seeing to a boy with a lot of problems so it's a challenging day. Thank you for asking.

Sounds like a fascinating topic for a blog post, doesn't it?
