Photocircle Rewards-Shares re-distribution update
Hello Contributors,
If you haven't noticed yet, we created a sub-account for the Photocircle project, it's the @pc-rewards. This Photocircle account will serve to re-distribute rewards / SBI shares via upvotes to the contributors of the project. We are using Steemauto to automate the distribution of the upvotes via the Fanbase feature.
Who will receive the upvotes?
- The 46 Steemian Beneficiaries of the revoked SBI shares
- Selected newcomer Steemians through the Steem Rookies initiative
- Randomly selected "quality" contents tagged to #photocircle
The 46 Steemian Beneficiaries of the revoked SBI shares
In this list, we aim to re-distribute a total amount of 67 steem among 46 beneficiaries in varying amount depending on the shares allotted for each steem users. Check the list below:
Initially, we have distributed 21.273524% of the total intended amount of 67 steem; it is equivalent to 14.253261 steem. We set a 7% margin to ensure that each recipient account will receive more than what was intended.
Steem Rookies initiative
Being a newcomer to the steem blockchain is one of the most challenging part of a steem user's journey. Each day, we scout the #introduceyourself tag to welcome the rookies who are showing a potential to be a good steemian.
What can we do?
- Welcome a newcomer and recognize the newcomer's presence
- Upvote the newcomer's #introduceyourself post
- Feature the newcomer's intro post to the Photocircle blog
- Add the newcomers to the autovote list of @pc-rewards
For how long do a newcomer stay on the PC-Reward autovote list?
Our initial commitment will be 2 weeks. If the newcomer is highly motivated in producing high quality contents, then we are more than glad to extend it a month or more.

Now this is the fun part and will be highly subjective on our part as well. If in case that the @pc-rewards account will have an extra upvote to spare, we will be using it to curate for the photography contents that were tagged to #photocircle.
Before we end this post, we would like to take this opportunity to express our gratitude to the supporters / sponsors for the Daily photo contest rewards.
- @mariusfebruary The Photocircle angel supporter who have delegated 10kSP to the @photocircle account to support the daily contributors. The SP delegation will algo speed-up the growth of the project and enhance the upvote rewards to the daily winners of photography contests and for the future additions to the Photocircle program.
- @vortac The lifeline of the Photocircle project, he was the very first supporter of the project that reinforce the daily contest with his generous upvotes. Aside from Photocircle, he is also a proud supporter of projects by the name of @curie, @steemstem and also an advocate of BOINC & Gridcoin.
- @pfunk ”One of Steemit’s Top Witnesses and an awesome support to communities.” Also one of the reasons of the project’s sustenance through his upvotes to the daily contests and also to the participants of the curation program.
