Lag BaOmer Blasted

A bonfire has exploded in London after people threw cell phones in it to point out the dangers of smartphones. It's sadly ironic, then, that this gesture has cost over 30 of those people their health as the flames engulfed them. Gasoline and social tech combined for a terrifying conflagration, but is this a random accident?

While there are many acceptable historic reasons for the holiday, for many it is essentially an iteration of Jewish magic, diverging from the intended spiritual values. The tradition has unclear origins, offering a few possible things as commemorated depending who you ask.

At any rate, the Lord has removed his blessings from Israel, and that means the diaspora as well. This is just one example of the protection they miss without repenting.
