La Palma #2: A villa in the middle of nowhere [EN/GER]

Today is the starting day of our vacation! We (7 adults) wake up at 4:20 am. Our flight from Frankfurt to La Palma leaves at 9 o'clock.

Fortunately, the ride to the airport runs smoothly so that we arrive in Frankfurt at around 7 o’clock, drop off our luggage and have a nice and relaxed breakfast in the waiting area.

Then, after getting in the plane and flying for approx. 4.5 hours, we arrive at the airport in Santa Cruz de La Palma. A bright sunshine and a pleasant breeze welcome us there – what a wonderful start! We pick up our two rental cars which we booked in advance.

So we stow our luggage in the cars and off we go to the villa!

The villa, which we also booked in advance, is located near Todoque. The ride to get there is a bit difficult - the last 600 meters consist of a gravel road with countless potholes. But in some way, this made the house at the end of the road even more beautiful.

Shall this be our home for the next days? Really?! What a huge area!

With pool…

We can really recommend this beautiful villa Case Estefania

And perfect sea views (This shot was taken from the living room – just gorgeous!)

The house has a total of 160 m² of living space, has four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 1 living and dining room and 1 open kitchen. The property is 6000 m² and the well-kept outdoor area offers various seating possibilities.

It is no wonder that we spend the rest of our first day in the villa, just relaxing. In the evening, we then go into a wonderful restaurant: Bodegon Tamanca

The restaurant looks like a huge wine cellar. Of course, we order a bottle of good wine and some tapas.

Hmm, that's delicious! Ham, goat's cheese, vegetables, salad, roasted peppers in salt and, of course, French fries.

Let’s hope that the holidays will continue like that!

Tag2_12.jpg

Hmm, ist das lecker! Schinken, Ziegenkäse, Gemüse, Salat, gebratene Paprika im Salzmantel und natürlich Pommes.

So kann der Urlaub weitergehen!

I love the location, views and the remote feel of the villa. Can easily imagine myself living there for some time :) Nice shots!
