The thrill of anticipation

A couple of times a year many of us are stoked in anticipation of new hardware from Apple Inc. I have to laugh at myself exhibiting the proverbial "Kid in the Candy Store" behavior as these new hardware events approach each year:

So far this year, in uncharacteristic fashion, I have not purchased any of the new stuff. I think the preoccupation of trying to build a new business has shifted a good portion of my energy away from things like this. Not to mention, the focus on crypto related projects.
