Building an Email List

in #blog5 years ago (edited)

Day after day, I am looking for new ways on how to improve my personal website, pinayteenvestor.com. I just learned lately that creating an email list is a good way to drive traffic to a website.

If you have visited a site, loved its contents, and eventually clicked the "SUBSCRIBE" button, then you will already become a part of the email list of such website. You will be able to receive newsletters and even notifications for a new post.

This strategy of email list building has helped bloggers drive more traffic to their sites more than soc med does. One of the reasons why is contents will be delivered to loyal people direct to their email accounts. Thus, they will more likely to visit your blog once they receive an email for you.

Normally, bloggers have to pay $20 monthly in order to send bulk emails to a website's subscribers. But there are also free email list services like Mailchimp which offers free emails sent up to 2,000 subscribers. If your subscribers will be more than that, then you will opt to pay for monthly dues.

After further research, I found a better email list provider which offers email services to be sent up to 15,000 subscribers FOR FREE! That's pretty a lot already so I felt like I've won a jackpot today.

If you are having a website and you want to build an email list, then you should visit Mail Relay.

But of course, I won't let you leave this article without learning something, so let me give my insights for today:

Kaizen. Kaizen is a Japanese word which means continuous improvement. If you are doing something you love, always seek ways to acquire more knowledge and more skills in that area. Do not just rely on norms. Do your own research. Seek ways on how to improve and do it consistently.
