Hungry People Fresh Food Mart

My friend and I just had dinner at uptown damansara, but we wanted to buy snacks to eat at home. We decided to head to the convenience store and we came across Hungry People Fresh Food Mart. It's a new convenience store that opened recently back in July. They are honestly quite a unique store. Similar to Family Mart, they sell packed meals that can be microwaved, ice cream and even have those oden but curry flavour instead of tom yum like Family Mart.

In addition, they have a wide selection of food. You can have fresh waffles, freshly made sandwich or perhaps buy a already packed one, mushroom or chicken soup, pasta, porridge and many more. I really like it as it allows people to quickly buy and their meals. And because they have a wide selection of food, it's unlikely to get sick of their food. They also sell snacks that are imported from a few different Asian countries. They have a salted egg fish skin snack, white rabbit candy, Japanese snacks and a lot more. This in a way can really make them stand out from all the other convenience store.

We tried their ice creams and mushroom soup. The soup was RM5.90 and it was actually quite nice. For a store like this and with its price it was actually worth it. The soup is a simple soup but it has loads of mushroom bits which really makes it more delicious. The charcoal ice cream was unique. It did have the subtle taste of charcoal with a slight sweetness to it. It really enjoyed eating it, feeling the grittiness of the charcoal was actually really nice. The mango ice cream was amazing. It tasted like those soft chew mango sweets, it's like has a powerful mango taste but it's not actually that strong. The food I've eaten so far has been nice, I plan to try out their other food next time!
