Daily Dose of Sultnpapper 06/06/18> Search for 700 , bot not …

I am dead dog tired and have just about closed the computer and called it a night before I even got the first D in daily typed. Trying to make up for lost time on Monday is a challenge at this time of year, and I refuse to throw in the towel. When you don’t punch a time clock and are paid based on sales you have to have a different mindset when it comes to work. Sure, I lost a full day on Monday because of the power outage, but I didn’t lose the opportunity to make that money from Monday, it just got pushed back a little farther into the week.
Whenever I take time off from work I always try and schedule it on a Monday or a Friday if I am only taking off one day. That way I can plan my week in advance and just a one extra sales call per day to the other four workdays and I will have accomplished the same amount of income producing work for the week as if I had worked five days. This week was not planned that way but that is exactly how it is going to play out since Monday ended up being a wasted day for me.
I noticed just before I started this dose that I am sitting right at 699 followers; I think that the spurt of bot account creations has subsided for the moment. I have been teetering right around the 697, 698 mark for about the last three days, it seems that the bot named @hottopic just can’t make up its mind on whether or not to follow me. The bot has followed and not followed me about at least dozen times in the nine months I have been here, well it will be nine months next week.
I wonder if it is trying to win the bonus that comes with the double zeros? I never have really said anything but I have made it a point to reward folks without any fanfare when it comes to certain “milestones” as they are called here on steemit. Since I reached the 300 mark I have always sent a little steem to the account that follows me that happens to
hit me and roll the number from 99 to the 00. I wonder if the bot programmers have picked up on things like that yet. Maybe the bots are playing the waiting game, just kind of laying in the weeds waiting for 699 to lock in solidly so they can swoop in as #700. If bot programmers will have those little SOB’s running around for $0.001 SBD in curation rewards they should be damn interested in $0.700 SBD or STEEM.
When I hit 500 I sent that account some steem, $0.500 worth , and that account just happened to have made a nice comment on that daily dose that day. The funny part was that the lady never realized it until a few days later and she came back to thank me, she said that she saw the transfer and never bothered to read the memo, but she was excited to get it and promptly transferred it, the $0.500 STEEM, to someone else who needed it more badly than her.
There are some really good people on here that are more than willing to help people in a variety of different ways. I haven’t added up how much I have given away in the nine months because it really doesn’t matter and it would look like I am trying to toot my own horn. But maybe I am; and for good reason, I want to get passed the 700 mark so I can quit paying attention to the number and move on for a while. Most bots can’t really read and comprehend from what I am told so if you can read and comprehend and happen to not be following me; now might be the time to start.

Stop, stop, stop, I know now the bots are on to the game, just as I was about to fire this out to the platform I hit 700 followers. The bot that ended up #700 is @allnatural , sounds like a bot from DPorn would be my guess, plus it has a great REP of -4.06 , does it get any better than that? Give me a break, and let me find a more deserving bot or human, besides @hottopic may have unfollowed by now and so I will wait and see, I know a good charity that will put that little amount to good work.
So you lose @allnatural , but I suspect you are used to that already.
