Agrar Ribina - The Power of Willow Culture
REBINA Agrar, a component part of REBINA GROUP, is the focus of the activity of energy willow culture. Produces seedlings for the establishment of own crops, as well as for marketing. REBINA Agrar is licensed to produce and market energy vellum varieties licensed by Lantmannen Agroenergi AB in Sweden, which is known for its long experience in this field of research and cultivation of energy willow.
Starting with the spring of 2016, REBINA Agrar diversifies its activity by producing and selling planting material of Robinia pseudoacacia (seedlings) for the purpose of infiltration of energy crops, protection curtains, etc. Acacia crops can be used to restore degraded lands and reintroduce them into the productive circuit.
REBINA Agrar collaborates as a partner in research projects and with the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Banat in Timisoara. The basic idea of joint projects is to provide, with the support of the University, the institutions of the community, the Banat area and especially the local communities with which it has reached a collaboration agreement, a solution of optimal cultures for the valorisation of the degraded lands and not only. Thus was established the first energy desalination nursery (with the purpose of commercializing the butchers) and the first holding for consumption in the Western area of Timis County in the Ghilad commune.
Energy plants have begun to agitate for some time the interest of businessmen and farmers in Romania, representing even a successful alternative to traditional agricultural crops. Moreover, the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) 2015-2020, obliges the creation of greening areas, and the energy shack is accepted and recommended by the Ministry of Agriculture.
