Cada lector se encuentra a sí mismo. El trabajo del escritor es simplemente una clase de instrumento óptico que permite al lector discernir sobre algo propio que, sin el libro, quizá nunca hubiese advertido.

Gema en la montaña

La mañana descubrió un milagro
en la montaña,
un gran libro de paredes blancas
que mi corazón no había leído.
Flotaba un edificio entre las piedras,
ventanas con el coro de sus voces
y muros altos tallados en el iris.
Quise leer esto como los ciegos, imaginándolo,
no a la intemperie, sino dentro de mí mismo,
errando de lo visible a lo invisible,
donde la mañana lo volcaba,
donde su luz iba llenándome las venas
y me arrastraba su extraña maravilla
incrustada como gema en la montaña.
Puede encontrarse tras el muro de ti mismo
una construcción sin luces,
donde no hay horizonte.
Hay trazos de su crepúsculo en la sombra

pues no hay camino visible hacia uno mismo,

Gem on the mountain

The morning he discovered a miracle
in the mountain,
a big book with white walls.
that my heart had not read.
A building floated among the stones,
windows with the chorus of their voices
and tall walls carved into the iris.
I wanted to read this like a blind man, imagining it,
not outdoors, but inside myself,
from the visible to the invisible,
where the morning left him,
where its light filled my veins
and dragged me into its strange wonder
embedded like a jewel in the mountain.

a construction without lights,
where there is no horizon.
There are traces of its twilight in the shadow
of the one who crossed his hidden threshold,
because there is no visible path to oneself,
but you get there.
