It's always an honor to be amidst art that resonates with the soul. As per my previous posts I have mentioned, I have decided to become more selective as to which shows and designers I wish to cover and attend. F/FFFFFF did not fail to disappoint.

F/FFFFFF's spring 2019 collection founded by Zac Zeng, awakened those childhood daydreams I had, but never realized I had forgotten. The colors are insanely vibrant and brought about reminisces of the 2000's alien and space vibe trend.

I had a pair of midnight black iridescent glittered boots that I loved dearly as a child. I remember my feet outgrowing them but I loved them so much I would smash my toes into the shoes. Obviously, that didn't last long. I never knew how much I had loved those shoes until I saw Zeng's collection. The clothing styles and materials used (vinyl, awakened many fond memories and childhood dreams. In a world where people are encouraged to grow up and where abundantly bleak clothes exist, Zeng encourages us to grow up in style. The style that we once were allowed to bravely wear, and the dreams we once were allowed to dream.

You can be a space goddess if you wanted to, or wear space buns for a hairstyle. You can be a bug collector and observe nature, a (boy / girl) scout, a G.I. Joe Doll. You can even live your dream of being a chicken LOL. The collection gives us permission to live life the way we always envisioned it to be in a colorful and fun sort of way. It allows the child inside each one of us to feel alive once more as we strut down the sidewalks, spend time with our families, or maybe ,if you're daring and or lucky enough, at our work. The collection gives permission to our inner kid and sets free our childish nature.
