Three Things To Help Your Site.

Working Towards GDPR Compliance.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations) is the new data protection for users that came into effect in May last year. If you have traffic, clients and/or customers that are based in the European Union.

The first thing you should have in place is a cookies disclaimer bar, explaining how your website handles data (and what data,)

Secondly, you need to have a privacy policy, which details how you, as a company or business handles customers persoanl data, how they can request to have the data removed and what safeguards you have in place to protect a customer and/or clients data.

Thirdly, ensure that your website has an SSL certificate to show that your server is providing a secure hosting connection.

Doing these three things doesn't make you fully GDPR compliant, but is certainly the foundations for your online site.

Thanks for reading.
