As humans, we need to take good care of our mouth. We have several functions by which the mouth can be used and we need to understand that the care of the mouth is totally up to us. Our mouth is used for description, it is used for aesthetics, it is used for speech and of course it is used for eating, just to mention a few.
If your tongue, your lips or even your teeth are missing, definitely it will affect the quality of life that you have. The confidence would no doubt diminish. The mouth is the gateway to the body because whatever we eat through the mouth can affect us negatively. We need to be careful about the things we let into our body through our mouth. It is our responsibility to care for our wellbeing.
We have a choice to make in following the right path and stay healthy or we choose the wrong path and stay unhealthy. The care of our body as a whole is entirely up to us and the mouth is the gateway. If you don’t pay attention to the defence system of the mouth, then you stand a risk to endanger your body as a whole. A lot of people have endangered their lives by the things they have taken into their body through their mouth.
We should always be careful about how we take care of our mouth. Diabetes has the risk of reducing the body’s immunity just as other ailments too. During pregnancy, the immunity of the body is known to reduce a little and this is why you don’t just take anything through your mouth or any other gateway that people might be using, especially in the early stages.
Sore in the mouth can make you feel pain and prevent you from eating. Not eating well and properly too would also affect the general state of your body. When we delay in the care of our mouth or for instance now; the tooth and it gets worse, you either have it extracted or have it replaced by denture; (an artificial tooth that would be used to replace it).
