Captive Chains, Raymond Pettibon. First Edition.

I'm pretty excited about this piece. Raymond Pettibon (born in 1957) is an American artist based in New York City. He's primarily associated with the 1980s California punk scene and his brother, Greg Ginn, was the founder of Black Flag. Pettibon was their bassist for awhile, back when they were called Panic. When the band found out that there already existed a band named Panic, it was Pettibon who came up with the name Black Flag and designed their distinctive logo. He would go on to make artwork for many of their fliers, album covers and merch throughout the 1980s, along with designing artwork for other punk bands in the California scene.

His work is typically black and white, made with india ink, and features comic-like drawings that often contain violent and anti-authoritarian messages. In 1978, he began publishing limited edition photocopied booklets, or zines, that are considered "the sum of his ideas and aesthetics." Captive Chains is the first of these zines, and also represents the first publication of Pettibon. Mega scarce, here's the first (and only) edition:
