Boulder Sunday #5 ~ "Father Of The Park"

This is a well placed boulder at the Gunpowder Falls State Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. It is near the Lost Pond Trail.

There are so many different trails here and I thought I would share some more "big rock" photos from the Lost Pond Trail. Most of the boulders that I came across on this trip were by the water.

        You have so many gorgeous boulders around your area @deerjay! :-)
        I just love your edits, the sepia and most of all the last one should
        be framed and on the wall! I like the tree bridge and sure looks
        like a nice creek to wade around in and look for rocks! The rows
        of moss on that tree is very cool looking!

          You found some awesome boulders, Dee. A great place to spent some time enjoying nature. The first boulder with the engraved plate looks like a nice one to sit on with the curve at the top.
