BoulderSunday by @shasta and Monochrome Monday by @the-guy-photos !!
This week i am going to combine #bouldersunday hosted by @shasta and #monochromemonday hosted by our man @the-guy-photos. On my Sunday walk around Lumpini Park in the heart of Bangkok city i came across these couple of huge boulders.
When i spotted these huge boulders at first i thought well that looks quite a impressive ornament of boulders in the way they were placed on top of each other with a lovely little garden around the base of these boulders.
Then i noticed there was writing engraved into this huge boulder and then realized the reason way this arrangement was set up here in the middle of this huge park. It was in remembrance of all the Aid victims that had died internationally and in Bangkok in the year of 2004 which apparently was the worst year of deaths from people who suffered from HIV.
So was some significant boulder that was placed here for remembrance of the dearly pass away victims of HIV/AIDS. RIP.

Yes, rest in peace. Amen.
And...Amen again.
What a real nice memorial, the boulders will last
a long time. Looks good in black and white @hangin! :-)
I like that it is T shaped, reminded me of Gobekli Tepe.
Thank you for using the #bouldersunday tag!
Thank you @shasta i thought the same and it's in a beautiful place surrounded by lush green gardens and a peaceful surrounding. Have a great week my friend :)
I bet it is incredibly heavy too.
