A Free life

The mainstream opinion is everyone should "work", and the idea of getting money from the Gov and not "working" is a bad thing.

What is "work"? What about those that paint, or play music, or look after children, or cook or those that invent things?

This is all productive for socienty, but it is not paid-by-hour waork in the mainstream sense.

Gov's earn from resources that a country has, gold, oil, coal, iron ore, or sugar or wheat etc.
Those industries need workers, but only a certain number, who go to work and spend the week waiting for the weekend.

What if those workers were paid to do the work, by the gov that mines the resource.

What about the rest of the population? In a non centralised world, there is little need for offices of workers processing pieces of paper, as source to destination for information is in a smartphone connection.

Perhaps western population start to contemplate a new world, where "work" is simply defined as doing something you like & are good at, what ever that maybe. Everyone needs water, food, shelter. And if you are good at xbox'ing then maybe that is how you earn income.

A new world awaits.
