Origin of Japanese Bread / 日本のパンの始まり
Excuse me for writing a post with #breadbakers tag without self baked bread.
During my Tokyo stay, I visited a bakery called "Kimuraya" that started selling bread 150 years ago as a first bakery in Japan. I wanted to show the store and the taste to my daughter same as my mother did to me. And of course also with my bread baking friends on Steemit.
The bread is called Anpan. Sweet bean paste Anko is wrapped with soft fluffy dough. I baked it sometimes but didn't do for a while. I must bake it soon :)

以前は時々焼いていたのですが、最近ご無沙汰で久しぶりに焼きたくなりました。

That sounds really good! We don't have a specific kind of bread where I am but there is a local shop that uses locally sourced ingredients for their breads. I like their honey wheat loaf.
Locally sourced ingredients are super. Honey wheat loaf sounds good!
As Japan is not a wheat producing nation, most of wheat is imported from the US, Canada and Australia. Tasty but expensive ....... ;) Ja Japan is a rice nation.
木村屋は150年前に創業ということは明治維新の頃ですね。
私も次回の帰省で、銀座の木村屋に行こうと思ってます (^^)
おすすめです！種類が多いので迷いますよ〜〜。お客さんが多くて即決しなければならず、あわててあんぱんとクリームチーズパンを注文したもののチョコレートコロネも買えばよかった！！とあとからちょっと後悔しました ;)

中々東京に行けないのでアレですが……こちら名古屋は喫茶店のモーニングサービスのパンにマーガリンと小倉が乗ってる小倉トーストがあったり、天然酵母パン屋さんとか老舗パン屋さんでも必ずあんぱんが。
たまに食べたくなるんですよね〜(￣▽￣)

マーガリン or バターと小倉の組み合わせ、、、やばいですよね（言葉の仕事をしているのでこの表現ははずかしいですが、他に表現できないくらいおいしい！）:) 名古屋のモーニング、噂に聞いていて、ずっと食べたい食べたいと思っているのですが、まだ食べられずです。。「喫茶店」のひびき、とても好きです。おしゃれカフェよりも落ち着きます。
昔、木村屋にはあんバターというフランスパンの生地にバターとあんこの入ったパンが暑くない季節限定であって、今もあるのかな、これまたチェックし忘れたのが悔しいです。。。
