Currently, it's 1143pm here in Malaysia.

Had a week off last week from everything and sank myself in bed for a few days in Brunei.

The gate of the palace. This is the world's largest residence. Gonna be writing a post about this visit very soon. Every year, it is only opens its gates for three days. This year, it was full of tourist. I think Brunei has really gained fame from those news about stoning and limbs being chopped off for those who steal and commit certain crimes (it never has happened and I have never heard of one). But it was sure a good publicity stunt.

I was really lucky to park the car in the palace's vicinity alongside with dignitaries from different countries. There is this secret gate and some talking to the guards.

I went there, ate, took home a box of souvenier and went back home. You can also go meet the Sultan.

This is the way up to the Palace. I will upload more pictures soon and videos of the palace. This palace has more than 5000 rooms and countless numbers of Lamborghini's, Roll Royce, Mercedes and etc. The number of people employed in this palace alone is astounding.

This country also has no personal income tax at all and is debtless. Sarawak used to be part of Brunei but was ceded to James Brooke after he helped crush the rebellions.
