Doug Ford, Brother of Crackhead Former Mayor of Toronto Rob Ford, Takes the Province. On a Buck a Beer Pledge!
The Conservatives take a majority provincial government and the Liberals got hammered, barely keeping official party status. Will he make due on his promise to bring back the "Buck a Beer".
Do you remember when Toronto briefly had a mayor that hung out with gangsters and got filmed doing crack, it made him internationally acclaimed. Well, after his untimely death to cancer his number one supporter and brother Rob has taken the family name to all new heights. Some were saying the entire election was a waste because there weren't any good options and even a boycott the vote was spread on Facebook.
But let's get serious, this guy didn't have any way to back up any of his amazing plans. He just has great ideas and now he is tasked with what pretty much every other party said was impossible. They even compared him to Trump in his mannerisms and ambitions. It really goes to show voters love to hear what they love to hear and fingers crossed it becomes reality.

He posted to the PC party official website, and to this moment it's still there, he will bring back the buck a beer. That's right, beer for a buck. How? Well lower taxes is one way. Or tax breaks for brewers. I really have no idea and I don't need to know, I am not the politician tasked with making good on a platform with so many bells and whistles.

I'm sure if any beer goes down to a dollar it will be some shitty brands people only drink because it's already cheap and better than rubbing alcohol with soda water in it. Well, which ever way it takes makes this happen I am looking forward to the results of the rest of his promises. I don't agree with many of them so I don't hope they all make it.
I'm in China so I didn't get to vote this round. Though I have, for the first time in my life as a voter, not been upset as not one was prepared to make my life better. lol Unless he is helpful to new business.

Do you know how I feel about Doug Ford? Ugh.....mini Trump. Circus time. It was like Mel Lastman. But really, who was going to do the job of Premier anyhow? I just am not looking forward to the crazy that will follow.
But think of the money you will save on beer. Who needs health care, education, clean streets and a environmental protections when you got buck a beer!

Oh, if buck a beer will be imposed then many people will have a decent beer to drink and will be saved from that rubbing alcohol with soda water lol! Well seriously, it doesn't matter, people will buy beer regardless how it cost. It does with other things, people buy things that they don't really need just because they can.
There must be something with the beer that many people in the world likes it. I don't know. If brewers tax will be lowered then that's possible but it may also cause financial setback or issue at some point.
I feel it's all about winning the big political game like most politicians do.
Well, Really, he's referring to a law the province put in place a law that prevented shops from selling the beer at such a low price irregardless of the profits. Some argued it was to prevent alcoholism as it was suppose to be too expensive and force a higher tax. But most feel it was just about the higher tax because alcoholism rates didn't drop and did not curb beer sales.
The thing about Ontario is... it's one of, if not the, worlds largest single purchaser of alcohol. It's a single entity buying alcohol for 10,000,000 people. When they place an order businesses open factories and create jobs.
