What is the Golden Circle?
The Knights of the Golden Circle where a secret society in the United States to create a sort of "Slavery Circle" hence the name Golden Circle in America by taking the Slave States of the Confederate States of America and annexing various territories in the continent to expand the slave industry once again across the whole continent!
Their main goals for annexation where the Island of Cuba, All of the Island in the Caribbean. Mexico, All of Central America, Panama, western Colombia, north of Venezuela and the north of the Guyana Province!
And this was just their Initial plan, if they found success in doing this they had plans on expanding and reviving the industry of Slavery world wide! A truly evil secret society if you ask me! The world would be a darker place to day if they had got away with establishing their little hell on earth but thankfully they lost all of the power they had after the american civil war.
So I learned 2 things today :)
But would they had a chance?
I am not that well versed in the American civil war, but shouldn't all European nations be against slavery at that time of history, end of 19. Century?
It seems I need to read a book about that war.
And my pile of shame(books) is just increasing..

You can actually create the Golden Circle in Victoria 2 If you play as the USA and then switch sides to the confederates and win the war!
