The best way to enter our business is to be born into it.
If your father is made, and he sponsors you for membership, then automatically you're in, although to advance more quickly up the corporate bone heap, or whacking order, you should have an impressive resume or rap sheet of accomplishments prior to.

You should at least have a reputation as a hard ass and stand up guy on the street or in the joint.

A brother, uncle, cousin, in-law, friends or acquaintance can also sponsor you if he his a made member, but you'll have to do the scutwork yourself before you can rise.

And until you're made ritually invested into the business/fraternity/family, you're only connected, an affiliate, and not a full member of this thing of ours.

As you probably know, this thing of ours is a Confederacy of crime families throughout the world with a clearly defined hierarchy of members with one aim only:
Profit and not averse to using any means to ensure and increase that profit.

I believe mafia stands for Honor, vengeance and solidarity as an acronym it might stand for mothers and fathers Italian association and it might not.

They specialize in protection, dispute resolution, and maintaining orderly markets, especially in those transactions where the state might try to interfere.

Internationally I believe they remain strong in silicy and are expanding their mission to encourage reason in commercial dealings.

That, I believe is their thing, unfortunately, the law sometimes considers their activities to be on its wrong side, that is, illegitimate.

As for this thing of yours — the legit corporate/business world — it's not all that differs from this thing of theirs {except you can retire from theirs only only when you retire from living}

The rudiments are the same, obviously you must first find a position in the world from which you begin to manage your way to the tip, I mean the right job.

To secure such a job, you need to assess some strong points. Like:

• Education
• Experience
• Skills
• Personality
• connections etc.

List all these in a narrative resume, emphasize both the quality and quantity of your past accomplishments and character as evidenced by:

• Awards
• Honors
• Fellowships
• Extracurricular activities
• offices etc.
  If you're fresh out of school.
  A little puffery is not uncalled for.

Lost for yourself, and yourself alone, your perceived weak points.

Scopes

• Prepare yourself to make virtues of these if by any chance they are touched upon in interviews.
  By yourself work to eliminate them all.

If you like you can also seek help from mafias who can help you eliminate your major flaws by eliminating the source itself.

• Learn everything you can about the prospective unemployers and use the knowledge you observe, contact them by phone or interview them if possible.

• Try to have good contents, and use good paper stock, clean, sharp typing for your resumes and follow up notes you send out after interviews.

• On the follow-ups add a personal line of some sort in your handwriting, right below your signature.

If you know anything about potential rivals for the position you are seeking, contrive to eliminate this individuals from consideration with faint praise, whether praise is merited or not.

If the rivals are component individuals, worth having as subordinates later on, you can always hire them then, after you've climbed a few pyramid levels above them.

After you have secured the job you want, send notes of thanks to other prospective employers you interviewed.
It doesn't cost a bit more to be nice, and you'll never know......
