For small business owners, Social media has become the most important marketing tool for their business. Their are wide ranges of competitive social network to chose from, Facebook, Instagram, Snap chat, Google+ etc it all depends on the type of business and where your audience is most active in..

Building a social media presence is another job on it's own, in fact it is a business nowadays.. And to a small business owner whose primary focus is to build their brand and make sales, creating contents and building a social media presence can be tasking and time consuming for them. Especially if they can't afford to hire someone to manage the accounts for them, after all they are just start ups.

So now the question is, how can you effortlessly create contents and engagements on your social accounts while running a business..

  • Nowadays it is kinda impossible to experience writer's block with the creation of daily hacks all over the internet. Hacks like, motivation Monday, Taco Tuesday, Workout Wednesday, Throwback Thursday, Flashback Friday and so on.. Use these hacks, but make it creative without removing the focus on your products. Whatever hack you are using, ensure that you make it about your products or services..

  • In as much as it is important to important to make professional videos to post, keep in mind that you don't have to do that always because it can be time consuming. Interestingly, these social networks now have the live video option, and your audience will also appreciate an original live video so take advantage of it. You can just do a quick video, it only take seconds..

  • Make friends, no man is an island, even on social media. You might see a post by your friends that you find interesting, share them to your audience and give credit. This can yield returns for you, if your friend have the type of audience you need, they can return the favor and get you more customers..

  • Take out a day to engage with your audience through AMA. AMA simply means ask me anything, you can also ask your audience questions that could excite them as well and reply their comments. This will enable have an in depth study of your audience.

  • There are times when your customers ask you questions on your products or how to use them. Use an opportunity to write how to posts. It can be a life hack relating to your business. Maybe if you sell hair products, you can post on how to Shampoo hair accurately etc..

  • Announce new products or promotions or any other exciting news, although this is not often..

  • Pictures speak a thousand words, post pictures of anything. A quick photo of your team behind the scene, share your work environment, this helps your audience to have an in depth knowledge of your business and what you are about.

  • Small business owners engage in contests and challenges to grow their audience, leverage that and build your presence.. Their daily engagements and entries will not just build and engage your audience, it also give you contents to post on your page.

  • Now that we have have social media automation tools such as Hootsuite, Mixbloom, Thryv etc, take advantage of that and schedule your post in advance. These tools will help you post across the platforms and save you lots of stress..

  • There are some contents that never gets outdated.. They are called the Ever green content. These are the contents that you can post over and over again.. You can repost them, but make it creative to fit the season so it doesn't bore your audience.

With these tips you can run your business and your social accounts without having writer's block.
