Living In The City's Shadow
Some city apartments never see the sun.
If you live in one of these towers, the lower your floor, the lower the chance you'd ever get any direct sunlight coming through the window.
The exceptions are if your tower is on the river/sea side, or in a less dense area where there are no other towers to cast shadows on yours.
