Traditional Cake ~ Timphan for Breaking Fast Menu

Good evening steemians.

Timphan is one of the traditional cakes originating from Aceh, this cake has been very popular among the people of Indonesia, timphan is not only made for ceremonial events, but has become the daily culinary of Aceh people.

In this fasting month, Timphan also became one of the menus for breaking the fast in our family.

It was sweet and delicious to make all family members love it.

How to make Timphan also easy, the dough is made from rice flour and banana, then formed round and flat on and added srikaya or grated coconut as the stuffing, wrapped with banana leaf and steamed until cooked.
