The rough surf and tide coming in made for a fun adventure at the beach .....
The big waves are rushing in.
Water is spreading over the sand,
Nowhere for people to stand.
What an exhilarating adventure was had at the surf beach this morning, the 3 year old was knocked off his feet the baby picked up just in time. Laughter came rippling out of us as we turned and saw the towels and shoes go under with the a strong wave running up the sand. With a fast run we saved our things and put them up on the sand bank.
Not a lot of beach goers today, autumn is here, the weather is cooler. The lifeguards watched quietly entertained with the shrieking and fun.
We loved the foaming bubbles, sinking in the sand and getting wet all over. No time to sit and ponder, to still the mind, it was an action kind of day.

Hiya janton, yes and yah the hot summer has gone. We love the autumn, it is still warmish with cool mornings - so nice. The beach is glorious, haha.
Oh well then that would be the best time to do everything outdoors, especially the beach, how wonderful!
We are spoilt living across from the surf beach.
Oh I love time at the beach. Yes as we get warmer, you all cool off. Almost hard to believe!
