My Reply to UN Statement on Trump Withdrawal from Iran Deal

in #busy6 years ago

Yesterday, the junta ruling the USA led by Donald Trump declared withdrawal from a multi-party international agreement signed by the USA itself and endorsed by the United Nations Security Council to monitor Iran's nuclear activities.

By doing so, the regime of Donald Trump not only gave the correct image of his country's disregard to international law and own promises and commitments, he proved that the junta he's leading at the White House take their instructions from those ruling Israel.

The UN Secretary General issued a hollow statement in this regards, since the agreement was endorsed by its highest authority, the UNSC:

I am deeply concerned by today’s announcement that the US will be withdrawing from the JCPOA & will begin reinstating US sanctions" ~antonioguterres

My tweet reply to this statement:

You're a useless establishment and must be restructured to serve the peace and stability of the whole world, not the special interests of some on the account of others.

How does Trump's insane decision to pull out of the Iran agreement make the UN a useless establishment?

It's mentioned in the post itself: The UNSC endorsed the deal and where is the UNSC now? Besides, it's not the first time we have issues with UNSC Resolutions, there are over 60 of them against Israel, if one of them is enforced forcefully as intended peace would be much more achievable.

Your point is well taken. Thanks for the clarification.

"It didn't bring calm, it didn't bring peace and it never will." ~ Trump
Is he right?

Of course he's right, because the US never actually implemented it. They signed and nothing after. Besides, how can it bring peace if Saudi attacked Yemen and still and accused Iran of doing so, Saudis financed all sorts of terrorists with their Qatari buddies for over 7 years with more than 137 billion US dollars alone and continue to do so but they blame Iran for playing the destructive role in Syria...!
Listen to Trump's speech, just remove the word Iran and put instead of it any NATO member state or Saudi or Israel and it will make more sense and be more truthful. So, it'll never bring peace because the US is the maestro behind all these conflicts. Who invited the US to interfere in Syria? Russia was invited by the Syrian government, Iran has a mutual defense pact with Syria, but what for Saudi, Turkey, France, USA...?
