Scooter Wars Are On!

Santa Monica is ground zero for the electric scooter wars. We are the corporate home of Bird scooters and they litter every possible corner of the city. There is backlash and you often find them vandalized, thrown in pools, washed up on the beach or dumped in the bin lol.

On top of that we have Lime, Jump, Skip and now pictured below, Wheels!

I like Wheels because they are less dangerous because they are hybrid bikes. Much easier to ride.

Oh I forget to mention that uber and lyft have dumped bicycles all over the place and Hulu has a bike share program.

The city is a mess with this crap but they are fun to ride for sure. I think the death of this type of transportation will happen here first because we are so far ahead than other cities when it comes to the tolerance for this experiment. My belief is that it is on it's way out sooner than later.
