The future of Steem is bright - I just delegated to @dlike
Incase you did read the announcement, @dlike is now offering 1:1 daily Dlike tokens for every Steem delegated to them. So for example if you delegate 100SP you will recieve 100 Dlike tokens everyday (paid weekly). You can see the full announcement here
My SP has been a bit depleted as I recently delegated to @steemhunt, as they also have a great delegation plan with some awesome rewards. After seeing the announcement by Dlike yesterday I decided it was time to delegate, and so I have delegated 100SP to them (I will probably increase this in the future!). Dlike has been having their initial rounds of IEOs recently, and thus these tokens will have a real tradeable value very soon!
We are coming to the time where Steem is becoming more and more like an investment, an investment - we can have our money work for us and create passive income while supporting projects we enjoy. There are so many great projects happening that sometimes I cant keep up, and I have an ever growing lists of projects to research and possibly delegate to.
What is Dlike anyway??
For those of you who arent aware, Dlike is a content sharing platform where users can share and comment on their favorite content from around the web. Much like Facebook allows users to share and engage in content, Dlike seeks to engage users to share interesting content. What I like about this is that it is simple, and something that any everyday social media user can jump on board with (and get rewarded for sharing their content!). Often people on here say that one of Steems major downfalls is that it is overly complicated for the layperson, and Dlike is seeking to bridge this gap by making something that is familiar to the masses.
In my mind Dlike has a positive future ahead of it, and is one of the under rated dapps here on the Steem blockchain. I am glad I am supporting them and look forward to the bright future they have ahead!

I think its cool dapps are starting to create their own tokens and it will give them freedom to tweak their economics and reward users

Looks like the IEO is now over (late to the party am I). How are you liking the delegating to Dlike so far? Also, isn't their token ERC-20 based? Have they said anything specific about converting to SMTs whenever that might happen? I get kind of nervous when STEEM dApps do things like this. I can understand why, it just seems like a step out the door. :/
