Step by step, manufacturing of footwear
I tell them about the manufacturing process I learned from an early age, alternating with my high school studies in my free time, I went to the small factory that my uncle has and observed the procedure to get to know him, starting as an assistant, then I learned each one of the steps, until I myself elaborate them to 100%.
There are many models and many types but today I will show you the manufacturing process of an ar2 supervisor model as we call them here.
The process takes work and dedication and begins with:
- Cut off each of the pieces of the footwear and cut off the inner insole and send all the pieces of footwear to the sewing kit to assemble each of the pieces.
- Place the eyelets and press them with the machine so that they are firm in the footwear.
- Apply yellow glue to the cut so it can adhere to the inner template.
- Start to assemble the footwear and the internal template in the mold to shape the footwear.
- With the help of tacks to hold and pliers shape the upper part of the footwear.
- Already with the shape of the footwear made we put the plant to mark it and have a reference
- We proceed to sand the plant and the shoe exactly where we mark it.
- Now that the plant has been sanded, we can apply plastic glue, repeating the process 2 times with an interval of 5 minutes.
- To the footwear we also put plastic glue to him as well as to the plant in the part that we mark and sanding giving him two returns.
- We light the oven and wait a few minutes until hot, we introduce the footwear we wait 15 seconds and introduce the plant, after 30 seconds, we remove both and place the plant with great care in the part that was marked placed the glue.
- Immediately we introduce the footwear in the press so that both parts are fully adhered, pressing it for an approximate time of 1 minute.
- At the end of the minute we can remove the footwear and place the anatomical insole for comfort and their respective braids.
