오버 투어리즘
수용범위 넘어선 과잉 관광객의 방문으로
그 도시 주민들의 삶을 침범하는 현상을 말한다.
지역 주민의 삶이 파괴되고 방문객의
관광에도 악영향을 끼치게 된다.
오버 투어리즘을 겪고 있는 대표적인 도시로는
북촌한옥마을, 제주, 몰디브, 바르셀로나, 암스테르담 등이 있다.
생태계파괴, 교통대란, 소음 부작용이 크게 발생하면서
현재 전 세계로 확산되고 있다.
