Multiply the thanksgiving for God's Glory!

The technological advance in telecommunications, mobile telephony and the revolution of social networks allows people to communicate in a fast and fluid way no matter their physical location.

We also live in times in which the modern means of communication, land, sea and air allow people to move to distant places of their residences either to work, visit relatives and even for fun and tourism.

This creates a sense of distance from our Creator, and makes people forget to give thanks to God for these wonders.

In spite of the kindness that the level of wellbeing of the XXI Century in which we live gives us, there are still social inequalities, hunger, misery, demographic explosion, shortage of basic services in different countries. These problems also occur in the cities where we live or in places close to us, even in developed countries.

As believers and possessing the spirit of faith, we must extend the values ​​of thanksgiving to all the people in our environment of influence, this with our example, of joy for life despite the particular vicissitudes we are experiencing, being Attentive to give words of blessing to other people and also fight to mitigate social inequalities by incorporating ourselves into charitable organizations.

The Apostle Paul in the second letter to the Corinthians shows us the goodness of guiding our lives following the teachings of the risen Christ and the promise that God has reserved for us.

13 It is written: “I believed; therefore I have spoken.”[a] Since we have that same spirit of[b] faith, we also believe and therefore speak, 14 because we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus from the dead will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you to himself. 15 All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving to overflow to the glory of God.
16 Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. 17 For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. 18 So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4 13-18 Word of God

Let us pray that no man and no woman are left without experiencing that true happiness is not in keeping their lives for themselves, but in the donation to others through the solidarity and service that create justice and fraternity.
