Bangkok Thailand MRT Train - My entry for travelphotocontest
The Bangkok Thailand MRT train car is filled to capacity at 5 PM. I am wedged behind this man, and backed up into a wall.
The amazing thing in times like these are how quiet everyone is. The Thai people speak very softly and only the train noise and announcements are heard.
I only have 4 stops to ride and I am nowhere near the door. But a quiet series of "Kap Khun Kah's" will clear the way for me when I need to get out.
Despite how it might look, the car is freezing cold.

I hate crowded spaces. I don't have a phobia or anything. I just avoid being around lots of people in confined spaces. What is "Kap Khun Kha's" It sounds very usefull indeed lol 😎

It's "thank you" if you are a woman. "Kap Khun Khrap" if you are a man. You are never alone in SE Asian cities, but this was a very tight moment!

So simple. So you dont say Excuse me, as would happen in the UK I think. Or Perdóne here in Spain.
I know there are other words, but this one works fine. You will never believe how nice the Thai people are until you get there and see it in person :)

I can not say there ever is noise in our trains except if its a train to a soccer match. The announcements can never be heard. People are busy with phones, their Mp3 players or sleep
