I'm happy to introduce the veterans curation trail @steembasicincome weekly drawing!

After getting to know some of the awesome fellow veterans we have here on this great Steem blockchain, I was invited to the community a couple of months ago. After I joined the discord, I found that many of us can relate to one another in ways which only a veteran might understand, and found that strong bonds have been formed in this community, and continue to be formed. So I'm very grateful for the invitation, and it's been nothing but positive vibes with all of you awesome men and women. Thank you for having me.

As well as the great camaraderie amongst everyone, the veterans community has a curation trail to support it's members. Many of the veterans here are serious bloggers. It's in our nature to go all out and put every ounce of our soul into what we do, so this helps support and motivate us all to continue working towards a common goal. I can say confidently that most of the vets here have a passion for Steem, and are also artistic and open minded altruistic individuals.

So naturally I started thinking of ways to give back to this great community, and it became clear that incorporating the trail into the drawings I already conduct is a great solution. I'm not able to follow trails currently because of curation duties and the ever persistent dilemma of trying to manage an efficient VP system. So this is how I do it guys, I run drawings to support the communities I'm involved with, and it's usually something everyone enjoys. If anyone doesn't want their name tagged a couple of times a week, please feel free to let me know, and I will kindly remove your name from the generated list week by week.

The way these drawing are conducted is pretty simple. I generate the list by searching for @shadow3scalpel (the trail) (managed by @rakkasan84) account under curation trails tab on the steemauto website, then copy/paste the account names and vote weights directly to the post.

Once I've listed the names, I perform a random pick with the Google RNG.

Accounts drawn are checked for activity before applying the share. If the account drawn is inactive for more than 30 days, or is a non posting account altogether, it does not qualify, so I continue the process until an active trail follower is picked, and then I send share(s) and post results.

Anyone is welcome to have their name withdrawn from the drawings altogether should they wish, and/or have their names be removed from tags. I hope you will all stay in the drawings though, as they are a pleasant surprise when you win, and we'll also be running @incinboost shares weekly too. 😎

To kick this off in fine fashion, we're going to run a triple share drawing, for one winner. The weekly drawings are usually a single share, but ever so often we have bonus shares.
