What's Happening with the Crypto Market

I guess everyone has noticed how red the crypto market is, in www.coinmaketcap.com among the top 100 coins only two are not in the red, Tether and Nuls (I'd never even heard of Nuls). Now look at the US markets all are OK, one of the benchmarks NASDAQ is slightly down the other ones are slightly up.

Commodities are OK, oil is the one with the highest down variation but it was up yesterday so I think it is just evening out.

So my question is: Why is crypto down? It can't be the crazy events that have been happening lately, like the US dumping the Iran nuclear deal, the possibility of war between Iran and Israel, Russia's army getting better equipment, BREXIT, and a lot of other international bad news, the only thing to offset this is the North Korea possible peace treaty with the South, but remember N. Korea still has nuclear weapons, so I don't see that as such good news that could influence markets.

So no, crypto's volatility is not based on international events,and it's not even based on news in the crypto world, because lately we haven't had any bad news except maybe Warren Buffet or Bill Gates going off at the mouth, and on the other hand I have seen a lot of Steemit and Reddit articles with great news that should have a lot, if not all, coins going up.

My view is that crypto currencies, are going to explode sky high, and I mean explode in the coming days and the guys who always want more are trying to scare people into selling all they have, in order to buy up all that these powerful guys can, so they are in some way manipulating the crypto markets downward in order to achieve this. Just ask yourselves, why should Steem be down so much if we can't even sell more than 8% of Steem Power every week, after powering down?
