Happiness peace and joy! (Day 14 of 30 of the Happiness Challenge).
One of the things my grandmother often said was that you should seek happiness, peace and joy in your daily life. Later on when she was too old to remember anything else, she would sit in her chair and repeat these three words over and over again....it drove us crazy but she was right.
Happiness, peace and joy....
We all seek to be happy and we all want to live a peaceful life and have some joy in our lives. BUT to be happy all the time is not possible, and to live a peaceful life is not so easy too.
There are just too many things influencing our daily lives that we can sit around smiling the whole day and pretend that nothing is wrong. We can however lower our stress levels, and do things that we enjoy.
When last have you just taken time to watch as the clouds float by?
When last did you stop to actually smell the roses?
When last have you laughed, and really enjoyed something without intoxicating yourself with alcohol into a state of happiness?
We are often so busy that we don't really see what goes on around us.
We rush through the day and we forget the things that are important to us. We leave our hopes and dreams behind and we fight to stay alive. We don't have enough money to provide us with the necessities and many of us have to find an extra job just to get through the month.
In the meantime things that are important get lost. We don't have enough time to spend with our kids, with our partners and then one day when we finally wake up it is too late and our children are grown up and we are left alone.
MAKE THE TIME TO SMELL THE ROSES...

Hopefully it will get better once SMT's are here and we can do our own thing. It's quite hard to work so hard and then achieve nothing...we have been promoting and working on the steemiteducation account for two years now and at some point it was worthwhile but now not so much anymore. We still do exactly what we have been doing but it's like we're stepping backwards. One step forward three steps back....hopefully it will change in the near future otherwise it would have been for nothing...at least we helped a few hundred people.
We can but try, with the downturn things have gone quiet, just keep on going on and hope for better days
