John was literally sitting with his hands in his hair. He landed himself in this predicament, and he had no idea how to get out of it. He was still deep in thought when his new secretary Julian, tapped him on his shoulder.

"Gosh, I nearly spilled my coffee all over my keyboard!"

John said quite fiercely, while he took out his handkerchief to wipe the coffee of his desk.

"I'm sorry sir, I didn't mean to startle you." Julian said apologetically in her angel's voice.

"I'm off to lunch. Would you like me to bring you something to eat?"

"No thank you. I brought my own lunch today."

He took out a pathetic looking foil-wrapped sandwich and put it on his desk.  Julian smiled at him, and slowly walked away as if she wanted him to stop her.

John longingly watched her walk away.

"Dammit!"

He just couldn't think straight when she was in his office or anywhere else.  She was obviously interfering with his work. He had to get rid of her. But how? How would he ever be able to fire her?

He knew from the start that it was a mistake to appoint her, but when their eyes met across that interview table that day, he knew that he had no choice. He was totally mesmerized. It was like she had a superpower that instantly controlled him.

He didn't even look at her CV properly. He didn't care if she could type or take notes, he could have cared less at that stage. He couldn't see anything except those beautiful chestnut eyes. He couldn't think straight.

He felt the passion stir inside him. He instantly tried to focus on something else, and looked down to see the miserable sandwich in front of him. He reluctantly began to eat, but the sandwich tasted terrible, and he grabbed the whole thing and threw it in the bin.

He got up to fetch himself some more coffee, and when he walked past her table, he could feel the attraction. He looked back and she smiled at him. His heart skipped a beat. Perhaps it wasn't such a bad idea just to ask her out on a date. He just needed to build up the courage to ask her.

He was naturally shy when it came to woman, but when he sat down at his desk all he could think about was her. She totally distracted him and he couldn't focus for the life of him. Without thinking he picked up the phone and called her to his office.

This has the start of a NSFW story, should somebody with my old age, and lack of memory read this? and revive memories of things long forgotten?
Yeah, I'll risk it, and will be tuning in tomorrow for the next enthralling episode of "The Secretary"

:) For sure you should....no NSFW coming up....yet..

Darn, I was looking forward to what I had forgotten about.
